Rochester Mural Festival

Each year Rochester, in Victoria, invites emerging and established artists from all over Australia to demonstrate their talents in a public outdoor environment. Artists work on their 4.8 x 2.1 metre murals from Saturday to Friday and on Saturday, the winners, including People’s Choice awards are announced. The murals remain on permanent display until the following year’s festival.

The event location is Mural Park which is on the wide median strip on the main road into Rochester. Well worth a visit.
